About

Hana Sinclair writes quiet stories about people who are between one thing and the next. Her fiction is set in places that ask nothing of you — teahouses, slow train journeys, rooms where the fire is already going. She is interested in grief that doesn’t announce itself, in the specific texture of beginning to stay somewhere, and in what it means to be known slowly.

The Weight of Staying is her debut novel.

She lives somewhere with good tea and a cat who has opinions.
